Huawei recently unveiled the newest additions to its mid-range nova lineup. Both the nova9 and nova9 Pro are equipped with OLED screens, and are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 4G SoC.
nova 9 has a 6.57-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Pro variant has a slightly larger 6.72-inch screen. Both are also fitted with an under-display fingerprint scanner.
For optics, both devices have a 50MP RYYB main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide unit, and a pair of 2MP units for macro and depth-sensing. At the front, the Huawei nova9 houses a 32MP snapper, while the Pro has a second 32MP sensor for ultra-wide shots.
nova9 and nova9 Pro run Harmony OS 2.0. The former houses a 4,300mAh battery with 66W fast-charging while the latter has a 4,000mAh unit but charges at up to 100W. That means zero to full in just 20 minutes. It also features VC graphene cooling.
Price-wise it’s CNY2,699 for the Huawei nova9’s 8GB+128GB model and CNY2,999 for twice the storage. Huawei nova9 Pro on the other hand, retails for CNY3,499 for the 8GB+128GB variant and CNY3,899 for the 256GB model.
