Apart from the X70 and X70 Pro, vivo had a third addition to its X series lineup, and is naturally, the most powerful of the three – vivo X70 Pro+.
vivo X70 Pro+ has a 6.78-inch Samsung E5 AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate that can also go down to as low as 1Hz to save battery, a 300Hz touch sampling rate, HDR Support, and is 25% less power hungry compared to its predecessor.
Under the hood is a Snapdragon 888+ SoC, along with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
For optics, it has a 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor, a 48MP Sony IMX598 ultra-wide unit, two telephoto modules – an 8MP sensor that delivers 5x zoom, and a 12MP portrait lens. All the lenses feature ZEISS T* anti-reflective coating. It also packs the custom V1 chip found on the X70 Pro which handles image processing with advanced AI.
vivo X70 Pro+ runs Origin OS 1.0 on top of Android 11 and houses a 4,500mAh battery that supports 55W wired fast-charging and 50W wireless fast-charging. The device boasts an IP68 rating.
For pricing, it is CNY5,500 for the base 8GB+256GB variant, while the 12GB+256GB model will retail at CNY6,000. The beefiest 12GB+512GB model will cost CNY7,000.
