Rumors have been circulating that Apple is said to be working on a new handheld gaming console. The console is said to compete with the current king, the Nintendo Switch.
The new console is said to be a hybrid device with a combination of the Switch and the PS5. This could mean the portability of the former and the performance of the latter, which would be good competition for the Steam Deck.
The report further mentions that Apple has kickstarted the development of a couple of titles with major studios on board. It is said to have alternatives to popular Switch titles like Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey already set to launch.
It is uncertain when the company will unveil the console but it is expected to be relatively soon.
