OnePlus has just unveiled the OnePlus Buds Z2 along with the OnePlus 9RT. The new earbuds feature active noise cancellation and Dolby Atmos support.
The active noise cancellation is done with the help of three microphones on each earbud and blocks up to 40db of noise. Each bud has 11mm dynamic drivers and supports AAC and SBC Bluetooth codecs. Additionally, the Buds Z2 supports the BLE, HFP, SPP, AVRCP, and A2DP Bluetooth transmission protocols. They also connect via Bluetooth 5.2.
The buds also feature IP55 splash-proof rating, while the charging case is IPX4 splash resistance.
As far as battery goes, the buds and charging case are said to offer a total of 27 hours of playback with ANC on and up to 38 hours with ANC turned off. The case supports Warp Charge technology and is said to give you 5 hours of listening from a 10-minute charge.
The OnePlus Buds Z2 comes in two colors – Black and White and is priced at CNY 499. It will officially hit the shelves on October 19. However, like the 9RT, the company did not reveal if the new TWS earbuds will make it out of the Chinese market.
