TECNO Camon 18 Series Unveiled

TECNO Mobile has just launched the TECNO Camon 16 series comprised of the TECNO Camon 18, Camon 18P, and Camon 18 Premier.

The details of the three were revealed on the website but their respective prices are yet to be revealed

TECNO Camon 18 Premier

The TECNO Camon 16 Premier, is the top-specced of the three and built around a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. A 32MP is housed in a small punch hole cutout at the top center of its display.

Around the back, it has a 64MP main camera with an optically stabilized 12MP sensor and an 8MP periscope lens with 5x optical and 60x hybrid zoom. These are positioned vertically in a rectangle camera module.

The device features night portrait video mode, portrait video bokeh mode, and a special super night mode. Additionally, there’s Moon Probe for better shots of the moon.

TECNO Camon 18 Premier

Under the hood, the Camon 18 Premier is powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It draws its juice from a 4750mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

TECNO Camon 18 Premier will be available in Polar Night and Vast Sky colorways.

Meanwhile, the TECNO Camon 18P has a 6.8-inch 1080p+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 16MP front camera.

Around the back, the camera setup is downgraded to a 48MP main camera, a 13MP portrait lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The main camera also doesn’t have electronic image stabilization like on the Premier.

The 18P is powered by the same Helio G96 chipset though coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The P model boasts a slightly larger 5000mAh battery but with the same 33W fast charging support.

Lastly, the Camon 18 shares the same panel as the 18P but lowers the refresh rate down to 90Hz. It also uses the same 16MP front camera in a punch hole.

Around the back, the vanilla variant retains the 48MP main camera and 2MP depth sensor but replaces the 13MP portrait lens for a 2MP macro snapper.

The vanilla variant has a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset accompanied by 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The battery remains at 5000mAh but lowers the fast charging to 18W.

Both the TECNO Camon 18 and 18P will arrive in Dusk Gray, Ceramic White, and Iris Purple.
