Qualcomm has just announced quite a lot ahead of the Snapdragon Tech Summit on November 30. The announcement includes the plans moving forward, confirming the rumored new naming scheme, and when the next flagship chipset will arrive, to name a few.
The chipset maker mentioned that moving forward, “Snapdragon will be a standalone product brand with specific ties to the Qualcomm brand where appropriate.”
In relation to branding, it announced that new representative colors have been introduced such as Midnight, Gunmetal, Nickel, Snapdragon Red, and Gold. Additionally, the ‘fireball’ will gain new prominence and will be manifested in new visual assets and other executions.
The chipset company confirmed its new naming scheme as well and simply said “a single-digit series and a generation number”. This is in line with previous rumors that the next flagship will be dubbed Snapdragon 8 Gen1 instead of the previously expected Snapdragon 898.
The naming change was done to simplify and make a consistent naming structure for the company that makes it easier for customers to discover and choose devices powered by the chipsets.
The company will also be removing the 5G suffix from the chipsets names, with 5G ‘being a given’ for Snapdragon chipsets.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen1 will be debut at the Snapdragon Tech Summit on November 30.

He would then transition to focus more on the world of tech which has also began his journey into learning more about this world. That said though, he still has the mentality of "as long as it works" for his personal gadgets.
