OnePlus Buds Z2 just launched in the US and EU after introducing the earbuds last mid-October in China.
Here is a refresher of OnePlus’ highlighted features which include the Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) and longer-lasting battery life.
The manufacturer promises 5 hours of continuous playback with ANC and 7 hours without ANC. It is made possible by the built-in 40mAh battery in each bud and the 520mAh cell that is present in the case. Charging over USB-C takes only 10 minutes to give it the 5-hour playback time.
In addition, a transparency mode that turns off the ANC is available if you need to be able to hear your surroundings for safety during commutes.
The Buds Z2 contains an 11mm dynamic driver that is also present in the Buds Pro. Using the buds with a OnePlus phone makes it easier to use, but in case you are using a different brand, you can use the HeyMelody app and just go through the settings.
The OnePlus Buds Z2 is priced at USD 99 and EUR 99. For now, it only comes in Pearl White but an Obsidian Black colorway will be available sometime next year.
