realme has just shared on Weibo that it will be making an announcement on the realme GT 2 Pro on December 9.
The company didn’t mention what exactly it will announce but it is highly unlikely to be the device itself especially without a hyped marketing campaign for its “first-ever ultra-premium flagship”.
The announcement from realme comes after several companies made the reveal that they will launch a flagship device powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Among these included Xiaomi, OPPO, realme themselves, and Motorola. The last of which announced that they will be unveiling their device on December 9.
It is speculated that realme will introduce the GT 2 Pro prior to Motorola’s event to claim the title of the world’s first smartphone with the new Qualcomm flagship chipset and then do a full launch on a later date.
The wait isn’t too long now though so we just have to see what realme has in store.
