GIGABYTE has released two new series of motherboards to their GIGABYTE Intel 600 line up of motherboards namely the GIGABYTE B660 and the GIGABYTE H610 motherboards.

Both series feature the 16+1+1 phases DrMOS VRM design with each phase having 60amp and fully covered thermal designs. They also fully support the latest Intel Core 12th Gen processors and two memory configurations of DDR4 and DDR5 with XMP functions.

Starting from the B560 chipsets, Intel brought the memory overclocking features to the new B660 chipset which earned users’ trust on the B-series. The B660 also continues to support DDR4 and DDR5 same as the Z690 motherboards. Enhanced by the exclusive design, DDR4 supportive models can reach speeds up to 5600MHz*, while DDR5 models gain the benefit of having high power efficiency, low latency, low power consumption from the new memory architecture.

In addition, the B660 DDR5 motherboards improve on some of the advanced features that are present in the Z690 boards. These improved features are:

  • DDR5 Unlocked Voltage – this can help you adjust the range of the DDR5’s memory native voltage which can then allow you to reach higher memory clocks with more stability.
  • DDR5 Auto Booster – this can help you boost native frequencies of your DDR5 from 4800MHz up to 5000MHz with a simple click in the BIOS.
  • DDR5 XMP booster – allows you to quickly choose different built-in and pre-tuned memory overclocking profiles.
  • XMP 3.0 User Profile – this will enable you to create and burn-in XMP profiles on their own.

By combining all of the features listed above you can reach frequencies of up to XMP 6000MHz.

Furthermore, if you are looking to improve the speed of your storage devices, the GIGABYTE B660 AORUS, GAMING M-ATX boards along with all the boards mentioned above have integrated two sets of PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots with one thermal guard. With this design, you can reach a maximum performance of up to 7000 MB/s of the latest PCIe 4.0 controller SSD and also improve access speed by configuring your RAID settings.

As for connectivity, the GIGABYTE B660 AORUS and GAMING series motherboards are equipped with a 2.5Gb Ethernet and 802.11ax WiFi 6/ 802.11ac network. For external expansions selected B660 motherboards adopts a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type C with 20Gbps and on the front a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C design for more efficient and faster data transmission to external devices.

Lastly, the GIGABYTE B660 and H610 motherboards are now available.
