Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi 12 series in late December 2021 and it is expected to be introduced in the global market. Ahead of anything official, a Geekbench listing of the international version of the vanilla variant was spotted under the model number Xiaomi 2201123G.
The device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Despite it being listed as the “taro” motherboard, taro has been known to refer to Qualcomm’s latest chipsets.
Additionally, it is listed with 8GB RAM and runs on Android 12. It is uncertain though whether the global version will have the larger 12GB RAM option like its counterpart in China.
The model number was revealed by an Indonesian certification. It was also revealed that the Pro global option has the model number 2201122G. This means, that we can also expect to see the Xiaomi 12 Pro in the international market.
