According to a report by LetsGoDigital, the Google Pixel 7 might feature an under-display camera. This comes after the leakster found out that the company filed for an under-display front camera patent a while back.
This expectation isn’t too far-fetched though especially after more devices like the Xiaomi Mix 4 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 featuring an under-display front camera were introduced in the past year. However, what has created doubt is the sub-optimal performance of the new technology.
Unless Google has found a way to make the under-display camera perform better, we doubt it will make its debut on the Google Pixel 7. However, the renders from LetsGoDigital do look pretty impressive.
We’ll just have to wait and see if Google does pull the trigger with the new technology.
