HONOR announced that the HONOR Magic V, its first foldable phone, will debut on January 10 at 11:30 AM, UTC in China.
The poster reveals a bit of the design of the new foldable device including a punch hole for the front camera of the outer display and a triple rear camera in a pretty unique camera module with a PDAF sensor and LED flash on the right. Additionally, the back panel appears to have a textured glossy finish.
In addition, leakster DigitalChatStation recently reported some information on the device’s key specs. Among these, includes a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 at the helm and boot with Android 12. It is also reported to come with a battery that supports 66W flash charging and a 50MP main camera on the back.
In addition, the inner panel is said to feature a 120Hz refresh rate while the outer display is reported to have a 90Hz refresh rate.
The specs revealed by the leakster are based on a prototype design and will be subject to change before the final product is revealed on January 10 in China. There has been no information about a global release for now.
