Speculations about a new nubia flagship have been around since a device with the model number NX679J has been spotted on multiple certifications. It is believed to be the nubia Red Magic 7 that is now spotted on the Geekbench site revealing some of the specs.
As seen in the image above, the rumored flagship phone scores 1219 on the single-core benchmark and 3732 on the multi-core benchmark. This was made possible by the “Taro” chipset which is said to be the codename of the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC coupled with 18GB RAM.
Additionally, the Nubia Red Magic 7 runs on Android 12 and has a battery with 165W fast charging support according to a previously spotted 3C listing. It is rumored to have Bluetooth 5.2 support and is tipped to have a gamer-centric display that may boast a 165Hz refresh rate just like its predecessor – Red Magic 6s.
As for the camera setup, it may have the same triple camera configuration as its predecessor. Other details are still unknown and may soon be revealed by the manufacturer in the months to come.
