The Slimmest Reno Ever

One of the OPPO Reno7 Pro design highlights shown is the 2.5D, 6.55-inch OLED screen that features the narrowest bezel compared to other Reno devices in the series and predecessors. This results in a 92.8% screen-to-body ratio and the phone only weighs 180 grams.

In addition, the Twin Moon camera design on the back of the phone is shown to have its upper half made of metal and its lower part with ceramic coating. The phone also features a first-of-its-kind 3D “breathing” light that surrounds the camera module. The company says that a 1mm diameter fiber is built into the camera area and is programmed to emit a soft, pulsating light that will serve as an indicator when you receive calls or other notifications.

OPPO Glow Featuring LDI Technology

The OPPO Glow made possible by LDI design tech enables the glass back cover of the lineup to have both a matte texture and a shiny surface simultaneously. This “paradoxical” design, described by the company, aside from its aesthetic impact,  enhances the usability with its fingerprint and stain-resistant properties.

“The newer LDI technology, which till now has been used to design PCBs in the aviation industry, has been repurposed to etch fine textures—as small as 20 microns in size—onto the photoresist-coated AG glass back cover of the Reno7 series,” the company said.

Moreover, each device’s back contains a total of 1.2 million micro-etchings that create a starry illusion that comes with long tails of light. A special focus on durability is also highlighted in the Pro variant as it comes with a durable lightweight aluminum frame with a flat-edged design.
