A new patent from Samsung has been reportedly spotted for the Samsung Galaxy Dual Fold. The patent was filed back in July 2021.
The patent was published revealing the look of the device which looks pretty impressive. Unlike the current foldable devices from the company, the new device has two folds with a slot for the S Pen in between one of the two folds.
Based on the schematics, the device has two hinges with three parts of the display. When folded, the partition with the rear camera folds the display of the next segment. The last segment folds outward and functions as the default display. It is in this segment as well that has a notch for the S-Pen.
The S-Pen magnetically attaches to the back of the device and assures that it won’t fall out even when the device is unfolded.
This looks pretty interesting but because it is just a patent, it may not fully materialize altogether.
