According to leakster Ice Universe, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series will feature new glass protection dubbed Gorilla Glass Victus+. However, it wasn’t specified if it will be for both the front and back or just one of the two.
The details of the Victus+ weren’t detailed either. However, it is expected to be even stronger than the original Victus released in 2020.
In addition, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is reported to have a special glass on the back called Super Clear Glass from Corning. It is said to reduce reflections and glare.
The leaked dummy models of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series reveal a matte finish for some colorways and a not-so-high-glossy back for others. The vanilla S22 and S22+ are said to come in Black, White, Green, and Pink Gold, while the Ultra is expected to arrive in Black, White, Green, and Burgundry color options.
Samsung has yet to announce a date for the Galaxy Unpacked event but Korean media mention that it will take place on February 8.
