Samsung Reveals Three New Monitors Set to Debut at CES 2022

Ahead of the start of CES 2022, Samsung has revealed three new monitors it will launch at the convention namely the Samsung Odyssey Neo G8, Smart Monitor M8, and S8.

Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 - CES 2022

The Odyssey Neo G8 is a 32-inch panel with the world’s first 4K panel with a 240Hz refresh rate. It also has a 1000R curvature and features Quantum Mini LED backlighting. Additionally, it has up to 2000 nits of peak brightness with HDR content.

It supports dual HDMI 2.1 ports and a single DisplayPort 1.4 connection. The monitor features an Auto Source Switch+ feature that automatically changes sources when a connected device is turned on. Meanwhile, the CoreSync feature matches the RGB lighting on the back of the monitor with the contents of the screen.

Samsung Smart Monitor M82 - CES 2022

The Smart Monitor M8 is a 32-inch UHD monitor and comes pre-installed with apps for streaming services as well as the Google Duo app. The monitor comes with a webcam that works with the Duo app. Moreover, it has a wireless remote control.

Samsung S8 - CES 2022

Lastly, the S8 is a monitor designed for content creation and comes in 32-inch and 27-inch sizes with a UHD resolution. It features 98% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and wired LAN support. The larger 32-inch monitor comes with a VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification.

Supported laptops can also be connected via USB-C to send video and audio signals and Ethernet data to the monitor. Additionally, the connection allows the monitor to send 90W of power to the laptop.

More information on the three Samsung monitors will be revealed during CES 2022.
