Infinix has just introduced the 2022 variant of the Infinix Note 10 Pro in the Philippines with an SRP of PHP 11,990. The Infinix NOTE 10 Pro at first glance seems to lure you in with its sleek and thin body design and with a special introductory price of 10,990 until February 22, just adds more value to it.

Day 1 impressions of this midrange phone are quite promising. Let’s take a look at some of the surface details.

Aesthetics

The Infinix NOTE 10 Pro sports a 6.95-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling. with thin bezels on the sides but features an asymmetrical bezel thickness on the top and bottom where the latter is a little bit thicker.

The power button and volume controls are located at the right side of the phone with the former doubling as a fingerprint scanner while the sim card tray is located at the top left corner.

The phone is quite light and as for me having small hands, it was still easy to use one-handed although a slight adjustment must be made to reach the top of the phone when scrolling.

Now, looking at the bottom of the phone we can see the speaker grill that has six holes, the USB-C socket, the microphone, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Looking at the rear, the phone that we received is the 7°Purple color that has a glossy metallic finish at the back but is overshadowed by it being quite a fingerprint magnet. Moreover, the camera island looks bulky, especially without the jelly case attached.

Camera

The NOTE 10 Pro has a quadruple-camera setup that includes a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP Depth sensor, 2MP monochrome shooter. Meanwhile, on the front is a 16MP selfie cam.

Here are some sample shots taken by the phone:

Performance

The NOTE Pro 10 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G95T that features two Arm Cortex-A76 processor cores clocked up to 2.05GHz, plus six Cortex-A55 efficiency-focused processors.

Take note that these are the specs of the phone we reviewed other configurations may be available.

We did a quick Geekbench test just to see how the phone performs. The NOTE 10 Pro scored 505 in the single-core test and scored 1667 in the multi-core test.

GeekBench Score 1

In addition, we did a quick test of the phone’s gaming capability by playing through the tutorial of Call of Duty: Mobile on high. We did not encounter any problems during the tutorial and some early matches. The high settings seem to be the sweet spot for high fps and visuals.

The Infinix NOTE 10 Pro seems to be a promising mid-range phone at first glance but we will do more testing to see how far this phone can perform.

The Infinix NOTE 10 Pro 2022 is priced at PHP 11,990 SRP after the February 22 Introductory promo price of PHP 10,990 and is exclusively available on Shopee.
