OPPO has just received a nomination for the Disruptive Device Innovation Award for the OPPO Find N at the Global Mobile Awards 2022 (GLOMO Awards 2022).
OPPO launched its first foldable smartphone, the OPPO Find N during the OPPO INNO Day showcase last December 15, 2021. The device was a result of four years of research and development and six generations of prototypes. The device earned massive positive feedback and even sold out instantly during the pre-sale with a record of over 1 million pre-orders.
The foldable device features a 5.49-inch outer display and a 7.1-inch inner display. The Flexion Hinge introduces a minimal crease that allows the device to stand when unfolded at any angle between 50-120 degrees.
The GLOMO Awards were set up by the GSMA (Global System for Mobile Communications Association) to recognize the most innovative and brilliant feats of mobile technology.
The winners of the GLOMO Awards 2022 will be announced at the Mobile World Congress 2022 scheduled for March 2 in Barcelona, Spain.
