After so many leaks and reports, OPPO has officially announced that it will be unveiling the OPPO Find X5 series on February 24 at 7 PM, Philippine Time.
The devices will feature cameras developed in collaboration with Hasselblad and will use the company’s MariSilicon NPU.
Unsurprisingly, the Find X5 Pro will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset at the helm as well.
According to reports, the Pro variant will also have two 50MP Sony IMX766 sensors for the main and ultra-wide cameras. These are said to be accompanied by a 13MP telephoto lens with 5x hybrid zoom. Meanwhile, up front, it is tipped to have a Sony IMX709 sensor, the same sensor used in the Reno7 series.
The Pro is expected to have a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 12GB RAM. It is tipped to be equipped with a 5000mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
Meanwhile, the vanilla Find X5 is reported to have a Dimensity 9000 chipset and share the battery cell and fast charging support. Its camera and display are expected to be somewhat the same as its Pro sibling.
Lastly, the Find X5 series is believed to include a Lite version.
As with any launch, we expect more of the specs to be revealed the closer as the launch date approaches.
