Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) has launched GIGA Arena, the country’s first all-in-one esports platform that aims to simply bring the total esports experience at the fingertips of Filipino mobile gamers.
GIGA Arena is open to all Smart and TNT customers and lets you match up with fellow players to compete in daily, weekly, and monthly tournaments on gigaarena.smart. Registration starts on March 9.
For the launch, the platform features four of the most popular mobile games in the country namely Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, League of Legends: Wild Rift, Call of Duty Mobile (CODM), and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile (PUBGM).
The all-in-one platform also comes with features that allow you to set up tournaments, stream live competitions, and play arcade games. In addition, you can purchase e-load and link your e-wallet to secure tournament winnings via GigaPay with PayMaya.
Smart has partnered with global esports company LEET Entertainment to power the platform. Moreover, Smart also marked its five years of partnership with mobile game developer Moonton.

To access the platform, you can visit the website and create an account using your Smart or TNT mobile number. Meanwhile, to join tournaments, you’ll need to use ‘tickets’ which you earn and accumulate every time you register to GIGA Games data packs.
In time for the launch of the esports platform, Smart also announced the enhanced GIGA Games which includes data for PUBGM in addition to Mobile Legends and Facebook Gaming.
Smart and TNT subscribers can register to GIGA Games via the GigaLife App available on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Huawei Mobile Services. You can also avail of the promo by dialing *123#.
