Xiaomi 12 series global launch has just been announced and it will happen on March 15 at 8 PM, GMT+8. The event will be streamed on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and also on Xiaomi’s official website.
The official lineup of Xiaomi 12 models for the global market has not yet been specified, But we can expect the manufacturer to release the vanilla, Pro, and X variants. These three are already available in China. However, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra might not yet be launched because it is rumored to be delayed until Q2 2022.
In addition, the likelihood of a more compact model – Xiaomi 12 mini may also join the lineup. Any other variants have a possibility to join the official global lineup on launch day but for now, we can only speculate.
The Xiaomi 12 series highlight will surely be its camera setup. All three models are equipped with a 50MP triple camera setup that includes an ultrawide lens and a telephoto shooter.
The vanilla and Pro variants will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset while the 12X will feature a Snapdragon 870 instead.
No official price listing has been announced yet but rumors have reported that prices in Europe may start at EUR 600 to EUR 700 for the base 12X while the vanilla may be priced at EUR 899. The high-end Pro variant may go for EUR 1,099.
