OnePlus has given out more information about the upcoming OnePlus 10R 5G device that will launch later this month in India.
The new smartphone will feature the Dimensity 8100-MAX SoC which is exclusive to OnePlus. As of the moment, there has been no official statement from MediaTek regarding the differences between a MAX and a non-MAX chipset.
To refresh your memory, the Dimensity 8100 non-MAX version has an octa-core design that has 4x Cortex-A78 performance cores and 4x Cortex-A55 economy cores that are clocked at 2.75 and 2.0GHz respectively.
Although available specs show almost no difference, the new OnePlus device with the 8100-MAX may only be a slightly tweaked version. So we will have to wait for the launch to confirm the details.
The company has added that the new device will support 150W SUPERVOOC fast charging for its 4,500mAh battery which, the company claims, has the capability of charging the phone from 0-100% in 17 mins.
The OnePlus 10R will launch with the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G in India on April 28.
