OnePlus has just introduced the OnePlus Ace, the first device in the brand’s new series. The new device is equipped with a customized MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max chipset at the helm.
The OnePlus Ace is built around a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Housed in a punch hole in the top middle of the display is a 16MP front camera. Meanwhile, around the back, it packs a 50MP main rear camera accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro sensor.
The Dimensity 8100 Max is joined by 8/12GB RAM and 256/512GB of storage. It wasn’t clarified though what differentiates the Dimensity 8100 Max with the vanilla variant. However, it was mentioned that the Max variant has improved AI capabilities.
The new OnePlus device is equipped with a 4500mAh battery with support for 150W SuperVOOC fast charging. Out of the box, it runs on ColorOS 12.1 on top of Android 12.
OnePlus Ace price and availability
The OnePlus Ace is available in China in Black and Blue color options. The 8/128GB option is available for CNY 2,499, while the 8/256GB variant is priced at CNY 2,699. Meanwhile, the 12GB variants come with 256GB and 512GB storage for CNY 2,999 and CNY 3,499, respectively.
It is expected to make its way to India as the OnePlus 10R on April 28.
