PLDT invited us to experience their FAST Hub exclusive booth at their office last April 27. FAST Hub is basically what a future home with 10,000Mbps internet connection will be like. While this may seem unreal, everything I experienced in the booth is real and may soon be availed by customers very soon!
To give you a better picture, I am currently subscribed to a 600Mbps internet connection by PLDT. I already enjoy using the speed I am getting, and yet it is just a very small fraction of what I can get from a 10,0000Mbps connection.
Now, how is it like to have a 10,000Mbps internet connection at home.

At FAST Hub booth at PLDT, I got to do a speed test, which really blew me away! With Download and upload speed reached almost 8,000Mbps, which is very close to the aforementioned plan speed. You have to keep in mind that the maximum achievable rate is up to 8,000 Mbps upload/download, and an approximate 20% is allotted for network headers to ensure good transmission.
Having ultra-fast internet at home has several advantages, especially if you and your family engage a lot of bandwidth-intensive online activities like streaming videos in 8K. Downloading and uploading enormous files, livestreaming to thousands of fans, downloading games and updates, and streaming video games are all bandwidth hogs. This connection also ensures that any AiOT product is consistently connection. With a 10,000 Mbps connection, you can do all of this and more!

Now, one thing is for sure – this one may already be available – by request, for the time being.
