ASUS Republic of Gamers announced a couple of new gaming products at the For Those Who Dare: Boundless virtual event. Among these include two new ROG Strix and ROG Flow gaming laptops, a series of bags and apparel from ROG Slash, the Team ROG initiative, and a standalone first-person parkour game for ROG Citadel XV.
ROG Strix SCAR 17 Special Edition
The new ROG Strix SCAR 17 Special Edition offers cutting-edge cooling solutions. Among these include a custom vapor chamber and Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal applied to both the CPU and GPU.
The laptop is powered by the Intel Core i9-12950HX processor with a maximum CPU TDP of 65W. In addition, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti laptop GPU has a maximum TGP of 175W with Dynamic Boost.

ROG Flow X16
The ROG Flow X16, on the other hand, is the third member of the ROG Flow family. It features an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti laptop GPU with a MUX Switch.
The new Flow member features a flagship ROG Nebula HDR Display with a QHD mini LED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate. The panel also covers 100% of the DCI-P3 gamut and has 1100 nits peak brightness.

Expanded ROG Slash series
The company also introduced the new products in its ROG Slash fashion line that is inspired by cyberpunk.
The fashion line features adjustable straps, multiple compartments, and water repellent TPU materials on the Crossbody Bag, Backpack, Hip Bag, and Protective Laptop bag. Meanwhile, the new Cobra Buckle Cap and Bucket Hat offer protection from the elements while standing out.

This 2022, Team ROG is expanding its roster, pairing high-end ROG products with a diverse cast of influencers, professional gamers, content creators, and athletes from around the world.

Vault to new heights in SCAR Runner
Lastly, the company introduced an expansion of the ROG Citadel XV game, SCAR Runner. The game is a first-person parkour game following the story of X. It also ties in with the physical chassis of the ROG Strix SCAR 17 Special Edition with clues hidden in the laptop itself.
SCAR Running is launching a giveaway campaign with over USD 20,000 in prizes available including the Strix SCAR 17 SE and ROG Slash apparel.
