Aya Neo has just released the Aya Neo Air handled gaming device in China. This device is said to come very close to Nintendo’s Switch handheld device in terms of its size and maybe even lighter.
This Aya Neo system features a 6-inch FHD OLED display that covers 109% of the NTSC color space. It is also equipped with input devices you would see on almost all gaming devices such as joysticks and shoulder buttons alongside action buttons and a directional pad.
Furthermore, the Neo Air differs from its siblings by having a Ryzen 5000 APU under the hood. This offers reasonable performance that is capable of playing older triple-A titles. However, indie titles may be the best games to play on this device because these types of games are less demanding which ensures a better experience overall.
The Aya Neo Air is currently priced starting at CNY 4,399 (EUR 622) in China which is higher than the Steam Deck’s starting SRP. On the other hand, availability and pricing for other markets are still unclear.
