JBL recently launched its newest audio products in the Philippines, aimed at the Gen Z market – three new TWS Earbuds, a new microphone for streaming, and a compact addition to its Partybox lineup.
Tune 130NC, Tune 230NC
Whether you’re an urban explorer, or gearing up for a road trip, the latest True Wireless Earbuds from JBL are set to deliver the sound that will keep you going. Both the Tune 130NC and Tune 230NC are equipped with Active Noise Cancellation, a feature not often found in its price range and category, and Smart Ambient so you can hear what’s around you without having to take off your earbuds.
They are powered by 10mm drivers with JBL’s Pure Bass sound, and feature dual microphones, touch controls, Bluetooth 5.2, Fast Pair, support for voice assistants, and can be used with the JBL Headphones app for more granular control. Battery life is rated at up to 10 hours in a single charge plus 30 hours in the case.
Endurance Race
Built for the thrill-seeker and diligent gym-goer who wants to take the challenge to the next level, the JBL Endurance Race has the same durability and comfort as the brand’s Endurance RUN, SPRINT, JUMP, DIVE, and PEAK headphones.
Like Tune series, this also features JBL Pure Bass audio, and Ambient Aware technology so they can remain alert to everything that’s happening around without taking off their headphones. The charging case provides 20 hours of backup charge for long listening sessions, while the buds boast up to 10 hours of continuous playback.
The Speed Charge feature delivers an hour of power with just 10 minutes of charging, and the three adjustable ear-tip sizes ensure a secure and comfortable fit. RACE also uses IP67 waterproof material to endure all weather conditions and workout sessions.
Quantum Stream
JBL also announced its first USB microphone, the JBL Quantum Stream. It’s a dual-condenser microphone not just for gaming, but also for streaming, podcasts, and recordings. It’s is equipped with a reversible stand that provides 360-degree movement plus options for mounting.
The JBL Quantum Stream uses a 2 x 14mm dual-capsule Electret condenser with 24bit and 96kHz sampling rate. It also offers two voice pickup patterns – cardioid and omni-directional, so you can capture everyone’s voice when recording a podcast or when on a group call. There’s a dedicated button to mute the microphone, along with RGB lights that indicate when it’s on mute.
With the universal mounting solution and voice monitoring control, users can simply mount the microphone the way they want to (on an arm, etc.), and control the voice volume using the dedicated knob. It even has a 3.5mm jack for monitoring.
Encore Essential
JBL is expanding its PartyBox Series with its most compact and portable member, the JBL PartyBox Encore Essential. This one boasts 100W of output and also has the signature JBL PartyBox lightshow that syncs with your music. All of that in a portable and smaller design. There’s even a dedicated handle so you can easily move it from a to b.
Party all night with up to 6 hours of battery life, and with IPX4 waterproofing, you don’t have to worry about poolside splashes or dancing in the rain as you groove to your favorite beats.
The newly-designed interface allows for easy control over the lightshow and volume, and you can also access these features using the dedicated JBL PartyBox app. It offers Bluetooth, USB, and AUX options for connectivity, and can also be wirelessly paired to up to two more compatible PartyBox devices for a bigger party.
