An Unknown Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Phone Scored the Highest Points in AnTuTu

AnTuTu has recently shared the benchmark scores of an unknown device powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (SD8+G1) chipset. This phone scored the highest points in the latest benchmark post.

The unknown device is said to sport a 120Hz refresh rate display alongside 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM with 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage and runs on Android 12. 

The said device scores are the following:

  • 266,524 points in the CPU test 
  • 468,846 points in the GPU test
  • 194,987 points in the Memory test
  • 187,804 points in the UX test
  • With a Total of 1,118,161 points

Additionally, Qualcomm has just introduced the new mid-tier Snapdragon 7 Gen 1(SD7G1) SoC alongside the 8+ Gen 1 (SD8+G1). The latter is the latest flagship SoC that offers up to a 10% performance bump from its predecessor SD8G1.

This benchmark post certainly shows what the new chip can deliver and is expected to be featured in the following flagship phones like the ASUS ROG Phone 6, realme GT 2 Master Edition, Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, Xiaomi 12 Ultra, OnePlus 10 Ultra, iQOO 10 series, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Galaxy Z Fold 4 with the first device expected to come in China in the next few weeks.

In addition, here is a brief summary of the new flagship’s specs. The SD8+ Gen 1 has: 

  • 1x 3.2GHz Kyro Prime core
  • 3x 2.75GHz Kyro Gold cores
  • 4x 2.0GHz Kyro Silver cores
  • Adreno 730 GPU

Lastly, according to the manufacturer, the SD8+G1 will have improved heat management and a 15% increase in overall power efficiency compared to its predecessor.
