vivo has launched the S15 and S15 Pro to add to the S15 series of smartphones in China. The Pro variant is vivo’s first Dimensity 8100 phone and both phones sport a 120Hz refresh rate display.
The Pro variant’s Dimensity 8100 SoC is supported by vivo’s “gaming-grade” cooling system that reduces the chipset temps by 1.2 degrees Celcius.
These are paired with the Gaming Graphics Pro chip to help out the Mali-G610 MC6 GPU to deliver consistent framerates in-game.
The S15, on the other hand, is equipped with a Snapdragon 870 chipset with a variant that vivo calls the “Peak edition”. In addition, the chip is supplemented by the VMET memory technology which is developed by vivo to boost the chipset’s performance.
