Ahead of the July 5 launch, the Geekbench listing of the ROG Phone 6 was recently spotted.
The device was listed under the model number ASUS_AI2201_F with 16GB of RAM and the taro motherboard. The taro motherboard is a reference to the top chipset of Qualcomm, which currently is the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
The Adreno 730 GPU runs at higher clock speeds of 10% than the original Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. How it exactly affects gameplay, we’ll just have to wait and see.
Among the features of the ROG Phone 6 that ASUS confirmed include a 165Hz refresh rate and improved cooling. Other expected specs include the same panel size at 6.78-inch and a 6000mAh battery and 65W fast charging.
ASUS will debut the device on July 5 with events taking place in Taipei, Berlin, and New York.
