ASUS is set to introduce the ROG Phone 6 series on July 5. Ahead of the launch event, two devices from ASUS under the model numbers AI2201_A and AI2201_B were spotted receiving their 3C certification. The listing reveals that the two devices have a 65W charger.
The ROG Phone 5 series and 5s series already supported 65W fast charging, so as far as charging tech goes, the next-generation ROG Phone will be at par with the current generation.
ASUS confirmed that the ROG Phone 6 series will have a 165Hz refresh rate display. Additionally, it will be among the first to be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
The AI2201_A and AI2201_B models are also expected to get their TENAA certification soon. This should include more specifications along with images.
