You can choose between a Ryzen 7 6800U model and an Intel Core i7 12060P model. both models are priced at EUR 960 but a first comparison video from YouTuber Cary Golomb shows the superiority of the Ryzen chip in terms of gaming capabilities.
The YouTuber performed a single test of the processors on the respective chip and also limited the TDP of the processors to five stages only – 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 watts,
After the tests, the YouTuber concluded that the Ryzen 7 6800U Chipset is the clear winner in the gaming benchmarks. Games like Batman: Arkham Knight is playable in low resolution and graphics settings with a TDP of 10 watts dishing out 37 to 50 fps. The Intel i7 12060P though can only dish out 6 to 15 fps even on higher TDP stages.
Other games like Borderlands 3 also showed the same results and Forza Horizon 5 showed that Ryzen equipped GPD Win Max 2 model has almost double the fps even on low TDP stages.
