Nothing phone (1) is Now Official!

After about a month of excitement and hype, Nothing has officially unveiled the Nothing phone (1). The device comes with a dual rear camera and a unique Glyph Interface around the back.

The device is built around a 6.55-inch FHD+ OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The front and rear of the device are protected by Gorilla Glass 5, while the sides are built from aluminum. The front also has equal bezels around the top, bottom, and sides.

It has a punch hole on the upper left for its 16MP front camera. Meanwhile, around the back, it has a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor and a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens.

The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ with 8/12GB RAM and 128/256GB storage. It is also equipped with a 4500mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging.

Out of the box, it runs on Nothing OS (1) based on Android 12. The company’s own OS includes Quick Settings for connecting the ear (1) and Tesla. Nothing founder Carl Pei mentioned at the online launch event that it will look to add more devices in the future.

The Nothing phone (1) comes in White and Black color options and is priced at:

  • 8+256GB – GBP 449
  • 12+256GB – GBP 499

According to the Nothing website, the device will arrive in the Philippines on August 1 via Digital Walker, Beyond the Box, and the official Nothing PH Lazada store. Moreover, limited quantities of the device will be available via Commonwealth PH on July 18.
