Apple is set to launch the Apple iPhone 14 on September 7, 2022, but, according to reports, the vanilla model has been seen on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) India website ahead of the official launch day.
MySmartPrice reported that the phone surfaced on the BIS website with the model number A2882 but does not indicate any specifications. This only confirms the iPhone 14 arrival in India very soon.
Adding to this report, Bloomberg has suggested that Apple may be producing the Apple iPhone 14 series in India two months after the official launch. It is also expected that Apple will start the production of its latest iPhone with Foxconn located in Chennai.
As a quick refresher, the iPhone 14’s expected specs are the following:
- A15 Bionic chipset(A16 for the Pro Max model)
- 6.1-inch OLED display
- Wide notch design on the front panel
- 12MP dual-camera setup on the rear
- 12MP selfie cam on the front
- may come with a larger battery capacity with support for faster charging
