Grab Philippines has announced that it has acquired the business operations of MOVE IT. Grab Philippines will help MOVE IT improve the efficiency of its platform and scale its existing motorcycle taxi fleet.
According to Grab Philippines Senior Director for Operations and Strategy Ronald Roda during a press briefing, the two services will not be merged. Instead, they will continue to operate separately and use their own platforms.
“As we turn a new chapter for our country, Grab Philippines will continue to play an active role in bringing forward the spirit of bayanihan and value-creation – and this milestone that we humbly share with MOVE IT clearly expresses that.”

It will look to create at least 6,000 income opportunities for more driver-partners within three months. Additionally, the two companies will work to further enhance its safety and service quality standards.
