Based on a reliable source, HONOR is making its way back in the Philippines after its split with Huawei in late 2020.
Since the split, HONOR has been introducing its own slew of devices including its own foldable device, the HONOR Magic V, tablets like the HONOR Pad 8, laptops like the MagicBook 14, and of course phones like the HONOR 70 series.
The company has regained access to services and hardware like Google Mobile Services and partnered with Qualcomm and MediaTek, to name a few since the split with its former mother company.
Locally, if you check out their Facebook page, their last post was in 2021 but last actually updated in December 2020, which is about the time of the split.
We’re not quite sure, as of writing this, as to what extent it will return but a ‘new’ contender in the country is always good for consumers.
What we do know though is that it will be brought back by Iridium Technologies. The company previously brought Zuk and Arc Mobile to the Philippines.
We’ll find out more next week as we were invited to an event of the company. Stay tuned!
