Samsung is set to introduce the Galaxy Watch 5 series including the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro this year and it is heavily speculated to launch alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 on August 10. While there are no confirmations of the launch date of the Galaxy Watch 5 series, leaks have littered the internet about the new Galaxy Watch series. The latest of which reveals quite a lot about the Watch 5 Pro.
According to the leak from winfuture.de, the Pro variant has a 1.36-inch AMOLED panel with a 450×450 resolution and is only available in a 45mm size. Its display is also made of sapphire glass which makes it pretty sturdy.
Under the hood, it, along with the entire series, is said to have a Samsung Exynos W920 chipset. This is the same processor that powers its predecessors.
The Watch 5 Pro has up to 16GB of internal memory and eSIM support for the LTE variants as well. As far as the battery goes, it has a 590mAh cell that is said to offer up to 80 hours of use.
We’re not sure when the Galaxy Watch 5 series will debut but with how much we know about the new wearable series, it could be soon.
