The Dynamic Island feature in the new iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max seems to be being received well, turning what Android has been trying to get rid of for years into a more functional feature.
It’s also no secret that both camps have been “adapting” each other’s features, and this time, a MIUI Theme with an almost similar style for notifications has been spotted on a post by Twitter user @vvaiibhav. A video shows a pill section just beside the front camera, expanding to show notifications.
Dynamic Island for Android?
It’s not quite the exact style, as the Dynamic Island for the new iPhones are in the middle and looks more or less integrated with the front camera and a bunch of other sensors, while this looks completely separates from the camera module.
The theme, called Grumpy UI is only available in the Chinese language, and is awaiting approval, after which it will be officially available on MIUI’s theme store.
