During the IFA 2022 HONOR announced the new MagicOS 7.0 and its Dual Flagship strategy that will bring the next foldable device and the next all-around flagship to the global market.

HONOR MagicOS 7.0 and Dual Flagship Strategy
For the first time, the manufacturer will introduce a new foldable device to the global market bringing it to the EU and beyond. This will also come alongside a new all-around flagship.
Furthermore, the MagicOS 7.0 was also unveiled. This OS will provide a seamless experience across the cross-platform, cross-device experience. It is based on Android, PC, and IoT operating systems. This means that whatever OS you are using the MagicOS 7.0 will have no problem connecting to it on a system level.
Aside from this, the Chinese company announced that it has joined different IoT consortiums like Matter and Ola to promote open collaboration in the industry. The brand also launched the Developer Service Platform which aims to provide direct support and services to developers

Finally, the manufacturer also expanded its partnership with Microsoft to bring Phone Link to the global market. This will let select HONOR devices connect to a windows PC. The HONOR magic4 Pro is the first international device to support Phone Link while the HONOR 70 will follow after an OTA update.
