Huawei has just recently released the Huawei Mate 50 Pro in China and now it debuts on the global market. The device comes with the new XMAGE imaging technology.
Huawei Mate 50 Pro refresher
For a quick refresher, the Mate 50 Pro comes equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC with its 5G capabilities nulled due to US sanctions. The device sports a 6.74-inch display with Kunlun Glass on top.
One of the significant differences between the Chinese model from the global one is the Beidou Satellite connectivity that won’t be available for the international market alongside the use of the EMUI 13 instead of the Harmony OS 3.0 user interface.
The rest of the specs are shared between the global version and Chinese version, though.
As of now, it is still not clear if the rest of the Mate 50 series will be available for international consumers.
Lastly, the Huawei Mate 50 Pro, for the global market, will come in Silver and Black and is priced at EUR 1,299 (around PHP 73,600) for the 8 + 256GB model and EUR 1,399 (around PHP 79,400) for the 8 + 512GB variant that comes in the Leather Orange colorway option.
