Last week Apple launched the iPhone 14 series, AirPods Pro (2nd Gen), and Apple smartwatches. Now, the latest version of iOS, iOS 16 is now available to download for compatible devices.
Apple iOS 16 features
One of the highlighted features in the new OS is the ability to edit and unsend recently sent messages in iMessages and the recipients will get an alert telling them if the msg was edited or deleted.
Other features listed are the following:
- Interactive lock screen
- custom fonts, new photo effects, personalized wallpapers, and widgets
- Apple Watch Activity rings
- Options to create multiple lock screens with different backdrops
- Share browser Tabs with groups and find more filters for its Focus app
iOS 16 is compatible with all Apple iPhone models dating back to the iPhone 8.

To download the app, simply visit the Software Update section in the phone settings. Keep in mind that the first version of the next generation mobile software updates may contain bugs so you may want to back up your files for safety.
