Google announced in its latest entry to its blog The Keyword that it is set to migrate all users’ reminders from Google Assistant and Calendar, and more to the Google Tasks app.
Setting Up Google Tasks
In the blog, the company shows how to add tasks. Among these include:
- “Add to Tasks” button in Gmail
- Directly from Google Chat
- Creating on from Google Calendar
- Using Google Assistant
These can be done from either the mobile apps or on desktop.
Once you’ve set up these, you can keep track of your progress by marking them as complete. Additionally, you can sort tasks you create into lists and mark those of high priority with a star.
The company mentions that “in the coming months”, you will see a notification on your phone or computer when you use Assistant or Calendar to create or view reminders.
