Telegram launched a new update that allows for infinite reactions if you are a premium subscriber. This update also comes along with UI improvements for iOS and Android.

Telegram Update for Premium Users and UI Improvements

Premium users now have a selection of infinite reactions and they can now also read messages with up to three animated emojis.

Telegram

This is part of last month’s Telegram Emoji Platform which allows you to upload your own custom animated emoji. The emoji panel also expands to show more emojis and emoji packs at once.

Furthermore, Emoji Statuses are now available for premium users that allow you to set any emoji, stock or custom, as a profile status.

To set it, just tap and hold on to the premium badge in your profile.

You can now also see your username in a new format: username.t.me and this also goes for Telegram groups and channels.

Telegram UI update

For Android users, you can now set the priority of downloads as they progress and you can also now press-hold an active download and reorder them just like in the iOS version.

Telegram Android UI update

Additionally, new Android UI animations for opening and closing images or videos on Instagram are available and the Telegram app icon is now compatible with Android 13’s theming engine.

Telegram iOS UI update

Now for the iOS UI update, the Telegram app on iOS now gets a bubbly setup page with new animated icons with both platforms having the option to sign in with your apple or Google.
