It’s a momentous day for vivo, as the brand has been named as one of the top 5 smartphone brands in the Philippines for Q2 of 2022 according to the International Data Corporation (IDC)’s Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker, recording 335.4% QoQ increase in its shipments.
This achievement can be attributed to vivo’s new entry level models – the Y15s and Y15a. The brand’s good and solidified market position in the ultra low-end segment allowed it to reach a broader audience. There’s also its partnerships with relevant brands and events such as the PUBG Turbo Cup Challenge, which helped the brand in penetrating the competitive mobile gaming segment.
Recently launched additions to its roster such as the vivo X80 series co-engineered with ZEISS as well as the power-packed T-series smartphones, among other, were also contributors to the feat.
vivo: Looking Forward to the Remainder of 2022
The second half of the year proves to be just as exciting for vivo as it’s set to unveil several more devices to add to its growing portfolio. For more information, visit the brand’s official website and social media pages on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
