Volocopter, a global air taxi firm, is planning to bring its service to the Philippines and is already talking to some local officials about it.
Germany’s Volocopter shared the recent meeting of its Singaporean arm with Trade Secretary Alfredo Pascual and DICT secretary Ivan John Uy to try and match their expectations on how to provide this kind of service here in our country.
Volocopter to Aid PH Traffic
“We discussed the possibility of launching Volocopter’s air taxi services in the Philippines in an effort to alleviate the country’s congestion issues and to create sightseeing routes for tourists,” the air taxi company said.
In addition, DFNN executive chairman Ramon Garcia, Jr., who may be the local partner and representative of the air taxi service provider here in the Philippines, will market this as an aid to our traffic problems.
“We look forward to continuing our conversations with the delegates by forging a strong partnership that will also enable us to bring urban air mobility to life in the Philippines!,” the company added.
