Apple TV HD 2015 discontinued
For a quick refresher, the Apple TV HD 2015 was delisted and is no longer available at the Apple Store. It featured the A8 chip and 2GB of RAM and is the fourth generation Apple TV device.
The TV 4K is the first model with 4K resolution and HDR support and is powered by the A10X Fusion chipset and was refreshed last 2021 with an upgraded A12 Bionic chip under the hood.
Now, the 2022 version of the TV 4K comes with an even more powerful chip the A15 Bionic Chip. This gives the device a 50% performance boost from its predecessor. The new Siri remote comes with a USB Type C charging port instead of the lightning port found on the older models.
The starting storage capacity has also been increased to 64GB which can be maxed out to 128GB and has a lower starting price of USD 128 (around PHP 7,750).
