HONOR is set to launch the HONOR X40 GT this Thursday. The manufacturer, on Weibo, shared some information regarding the upcoming phone’s advanced cooling system.
HONOR X40 GT advanced cooling system
The HONOR X40 GT‘s cooling system has 13 different layers that are said to guarantee optimal sustained performance. Its vapor chamber, on the other hand, will have a total area of over 4,000 sq. mm.
Heading back to the X40 GT, this phone is the third one in this midrange series. It sports a 120Hz refresh rate screen and will sustain 115.7 fps for 60 minutes when playing an online multiplayer battle arena game like Arena of Valor but without the temperature changing drastically.
The teaser also showed that the framerate seems to remain unchanged in two other demos – one hour of FPS gaming at 90Hz and one hour for an RPG game playing at 60Hz.
To boost the HONOR X40 GT’s presence, the manufacturer partnered up with Magnum Zhang, the first Chinese to become a UFC Champion, to help promote the phone.
