vivo’s smartphones run on two operating systems – OriginOS Ocean for the Chinese market and Funtouch OS for the international market. Now, the company said the latest Funtouch OS 13, based on Android 13, is rolling out for overseas devices.
Funtouch OS 13 details
The list of eligible devices includes 50 devices from vivo and iQOO. Improvements in the OS such as app pinning enhanced control via iManager and a new stabilizer ring have been added.
Moreover, more customization options have been added. You can customize the home screen graphics, including icons that you can match with the background.
The settings menu can have a single color when you use the Monochrome Icon feature for those who prefer something simpler.
One of the security improvements included in the latest version of Funtouch OS is app pinning. Additionally, you can now hide certain photos through the three-dot menu in the gallery.
On the other hand, the app iManager makes the user experience streamlined. You can also close applications heavy on the CPU with One tap.
The video editor allows you to mute audio and the photo editor can now happen via the viewfinder where you swipe and adjust vibrance, brightness, contrast, and exposure.
The images above show the roadmap from vivo and iQOO about the beta version of the Funtouch OS 13.
