HONOR introduced the HONOR Magic Vs, its latest foldable device. The foldable was introduced during the company’s two-day event where it was launched with the HONOR 80 series and MagicOS 7.0.
The latest foldable device from HONOR packs a 7.9-inch OLED inner display with a 2272×1984 resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate and a 6.45-inch OLED outer display with a 2560×1080 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The device is revealed to be practically creaseless thanks to a new hinge “carefully crafted with a single-piece processing technology”. Its elements have drastically lowered from 92 in the predecessor to 4. The company successfully did this while maintaining durability and sturdiness and is said to withstand 400,000 folds.
Around the back, it has a 54MP main Sony IMX800 sensor along with a 50MP ultrawide lens and an 8MP telephoto camera.
It is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset coupled with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. Additionally, it boasts a 5000mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging.
The new foldable also works with the newly introduced Magic Pen, the company’s stylus that connects via Bluetooth.
